Resume/View/Modify/Withdraw Abstract, Preprint, or generate Visa Letter
Before abstract submission closes, you may view, modify or withdraw your abstract or preprint. After abstract submission closes, you may view, but no longer modify your abstract, including the abstract text, title, and author list.
If your abstract has been accepted into the technical program, you will be able to generate a visa letter that can be used to support your visa application.
Refer to the email sent to you when you submitted your abstract for your ID and Password. If you do not know your ID and Password, contact us with the presenting author's full name, the title of the abstract, and the program and session to which it was submitted.
AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED IN YOU CAN DO THESE THINGS:
After signing in, click the link in the Abstract Control Panel of the section you want to modify. Then modify your information. Be sure to click the Submit Information button to save your changes.
Check Status of Abstract
Enter your ID and Password. The status of your paper will appear below the name of your abstract.
Print Visa Letter
After your abstract is accepted sign in and choose the personalized visa letter link.
Before Abstract Submission Closes
In Abstract Control Panel click Delete from the menu
A screen will come up with the question:
Are you sure you want to delete paper #######, Paper Title?
You must document why this abstract will be deleted
Enter the reason for withdrawal in the box and click delete and your abstract will be deleted from the program.
After Abstract Submission Closes
Email your program chair (contact information is available on OASYS main page) or symposium organizer. They will forward the information to the correct ACS staff. The message should contain:
- Paper ID number
- Title of Paper
- Authorís Name
- Division paper submitted to
- Final Paper number (if available)
