This talk will present the outcomes of a project in which 8 video programs were developed to showcase the applications of physical chemistry through the work of scientists and engineers across the country. The programs are part of the Physical Chemistry in Practice DVD. The DVD also includes interactive features that allow students to view the script, have access to HTML-based content information about the video topics, work on applied problems related to the topics, and access external links. We have used this DVD with several different student audiences and assessed student navigation styles as well as learning outcomes. This talk will present our findings for this research.
