Photoactive N-2 aryl-triazoles as new linkers for the preparation of novel, photoactive MOF materials and their application in photo-induced CO2 reduction

A series of N-2-aryl-1,2,3-triazole based dicarboxylates were prepared through regio-selective post triazole arylation. The products were furthered as photo-active linker in the formation of metal-organic-frameworks through the coordination and crystallization with ZnO. The resulted materials are applied as new photo catalyst in CO2 reduction through photo-inducted electronic transfer process.
