Multifunctionalized isoxazoline-N-oxide synthesis through sulfur ylide and its application in γ-lactam preparation

The convenient synthesis of isoxazoline-N- oxide was developed through a condensation between nitro alkene aldehyde and sulfur ylide. High yield and single diastereomer was observed under mild condition. Further simple derivartization led to the γ-lactam in couple of steps with high yield and stereoselectivity.
