| Over the past 17 years Polymer Chemistry Innovations has worked at being a steward of the environment. Besides the normal reasons, PCI owns two locations and pride of ownership has been a strong motivating factor. Obviously today, all chemically related companies must be concerned with the environment. State and federal agencies have realized that they have to use scientific means to measure and quantify the rules for companies to abide by and to design plants and facilities to operate properly. The rules are often complicated, difficult, but, built on science. So, based on good science, a company must obtain all permits, design containment and plants, review internally and with government agencies all policies and permits to remain in good standing. Is that enough when local officials get involved?? |
