| The breadth of topics typically covered in Inorganic Chemistry represents a difficult task both for the student in class and the instructor attempting to cover the material. In order to enhance the students access to core information beyond the classroom, podcasts and vodcasts represent an alternative approach to the traditional classroom lecture. Using a desktop solution and powerpoint, it is possible to create media files of core and advanced chemistry topics which students can view from within any course management system. The process is straightforward for an individual instructor to complete. This presentation will explore these options, provide examples and strategies for implementation and examine student feedback of value and satisfaction with these materials. |
