FUEL 93 |
| The talk will be focused on the chemical conversion of natural gas (main methane) to high value chemicals and liquid fuel, with emphasis on the innovation and application of the catalysts and catalytic process. Three processes referring to the selective conversion of methane in the different temperature ranges will be introduced: (1) Selective oxidation of methane with the combination of the three redox couples Pd2+/Pd0, Q/H2Q, and NO2/NO in CF3COOH for the one-pot aerobic oxidation of methane at 80 °C; (2) Oxidative coupling of methane by using the confined nano-sized silver catalysts in the mesoporous channel at 400°C ~600°C. (3) Non-oxidative aromatization of methane by using Mo-modified MWW zeolites and a coupling process with OCM at 700°C. |
