| ChEmory, Emory University's Chemistry club, is dedicated to providing quality science education to both the undergraduates at Emory as well as to the surrounding community at large. On campus, ChEmory conducts a variety of different programs aimed at increasing awareness of the role science plays in our everyday lives. During National Chemistry Week, ChEmory organized a week long series of events which brought a variety of students, faculty, and staff out to learn more about chemistry. The events held during this week included making a periodic table of elements out of cupcakes, demos show, trip to Fernbank Elementary School to each the community about demos, as well as the ever popular Mole Day, all of which contributed to teaching the Emory community about how fascinating learning chemistry can be. |
