Student chapters of the American Chemical Society often have trouble making their mark on the student community on campus. Because of this it is often difficult for them to make a mark on the community in general. Using the tools available on campus to advertise the club combined with planning events with local schools can help with this problem. Suffolk University's use of on-campus facilities as we as host club events such as magic shows for Boston pre-schools on our campus and our participation in community events such as the Charles River Clean-up, have helped the club greatly when it comes to gaining recognition from various communities we are involved with.
