The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society at the University of Central Arkansas will be hosting the Undergraduate and Student Affiliate program of the 64th Southwest Regional ACS Meeting. We have developed a program consisting of undergraduate research poster sessions, 16 oral seminars, distinguished speakers, a graduate school breakfast, and a variety of professions to discuss obtainable careers in chemistry. The goal of hosting this event is to provide undergraduate students with important information that will be beneficial to their careers as future chemists, as well as give them an opportunity to present their research. Through grant proposals, efficient fundraising, and receiving help from neighboring colleges we were successfully able to plan and enact our proposal.
