| Lecture demonstrations are commonly used to illustrate chemical principles and yet students often view them as entertainment rather than education. We have attempted to address this issue by employing techniques designed to increase the involvement of students in the demonstrations. This session will present teaching methods that combine lecture demonstrations with molecular art and ConcepTest questions to bridge the entertainment, education gap. |
