The purpose of the CHEM Club is to get students at Park University excited about chemistry. Through several community outreach activities and tours of local facilities, we hope to generate interest in the CHEM Club and the chemistry department. Many members this year are enrolled in Physical Chemistry, we are using our new knowledge in preparing for demonstrations and outreach activities. This year, we participated in Fright Night, an outreach activity held on Park University campus for the children of the community, and participated in the meetings of the local chapter ACS. Most members have become student affiliates of ACS. Our monthly fundraiser is the "meal of the month" that we serve to hungry students, staff and faculty of the science building.
