| Central Michigan University American Chemical Society Student Affiliates (CMU SAACS) has been an active and rewarding chapter. Not only have we learned more about chemistry, we have learned leadership skills through serving as officers and project leaders as we carry out various projects and events. We are extremely proud of our chapter for receiving the Outstanding Chapter award the past four years, and for receiving our first Green Chemistry Award. Our club exemplifies what it takes to be a successful SAACS chapter. We wish to demonstrate to other chapters the many things we do to maintain a successful chapter in hopes that others may find new ways to reach their members, campus, and community. Our poster will therefore feature segments on: recruitment, National Chemistry Week, Earth Day activities, school demonstrations, chapter t-shirts, group socials, regional and national meetings, volunteering, fundraising for charities, and faculty interaction. |
