In an environmentally conscious world, the ACS student affiliates of Angelo State University are making green chemistry a priority. We are working to increase awareness of the global crisis by distributing flyers with the 12 principles of Green Chemistry at Ram Jam pep rallies and Parent's Day events on campus. We have constructed a Green Chemistry website link from our home page. A symposium is planned for the spring with speakers from Angelo State faculty and various agencies in San Angelo, Texas. The members are participating in a virtual march against global warming and will work with a city wide clean up event on Earth Day. Results to date and future plans will be presented.
