Synthetic studies of spiroketal enol ether natural products

Spiroketal enol ethers are common motifs among natural products isolated from plants in the Asteraceae family. This project describes our attempts to form spiroketal enol ethers by addition of an internal acetal to an activated pendant alkyne.
