Determination of the origin of Central Texas chardonnay white wines with gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy

This project is concerned with determining the chemical composition of various wines from the Central Texas region in order to identify their source. A distillation method is used to separate the components, which are then identified with a gas chromatograph- mass spectrometer. This technique was used to determine the origin of the wines.
