Our introductory forensic chemistry course draws students from across the campus. Almost half the enrollment comes from outside the chemistry department. I have adopted a science-in-fiction approach to help engage the non-majors who have traditionally struggled in intoductory chemistry classes. I will discuss the curriculum developed for this class and report initial findings from this exercise.
