Achieving inorganic nirvana at Northern Kentucky University

Over the past five years, the inorganic offerings have evolved significantly in the department of chemistry at Northern Kentucky University. This paper describes the journey taken by the author and his colleagues to achieve the current course offerings, including textbook selection, the splitting of the traditional upperclass course into several smaller courses, lecture topics (including heavy use of the angular overlap model), and unique lab experiments.
