Chemists Celebrate Earth Day is an outreach program of the American Chemical Society developed to enhance the public's awareness of the contributions of chemistry to our everyday lives and the nation's economy, as well as to showcase chemistry's value in sustaining a healthy planet. This poster will showcase the materials developed to help you and your local section to get involved in CCED 2008. This report will present the community event “Adopt a river/stream,” the K-12 illustrated Haiku, the college event, and how to partner with other organizations in order to have a successful Earth Day celebration.
