Different adaptations of POGIL are being used in a variety of courses at Linfield College, and will be described. These include full adoption (two out of three sections of general chemistry, instrumental analysis, and physical chemistry), alternating lecture/POGIL sessions (organic chemistry), and the use of two-three POGIL laboratories in our general chemistry labs. In all but one course (instrumental analysis), a combination of published and self-authored POGIL activities are used. In general chemistry, some activities have been developed specifically for use with the ACS chemistry textbook, and for the use of clickers.
