Synthesis and biological evaluation of 3-alkylaryl-3-arylmethoxytropane derivatives at serotonin transporters

A series of 3-alklyaryl-3-arylmethoxytropane derivatives has been synthesized and evaluated for potency at serotonin transporters (SERT) in rat brain tissue preparations. The synthesis, serotonin transporter affinity and structure-activity relationships of these novel compounds will be presented.
