A chemistry camp held on April 28, 2007 by the Lock Haven University Student Affiliate Chapter of the ACS will be showcased. The camp included various hands-on activities, as well as demonstrations, for 5th graders. The participants even got to make their own ice cream at the end of the day. The chemistry camp was held in order to spark an interest in science by showing that it can be educational and fun at the same time. The camp was not only a learning experience for the 5th graders, but for the club members as well. Details of the day's activities will be presented.
