Seton Hill University Chemistry Club emphasizes that the ultimate goal of science is the advancement of human welfare through knowledge and service to the community. Our club focuses in three main areas: chemistry awareness, community outreach programs, and fundraising. We promote chemistry awareness through activities that highlight the importance of science and higher education; these include Women in Science Day and National Chemistry Week. We contribute to the community with activities that include: Adopt-a-Highway project with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Saint James Middle School visit. Finally we do fundraising to fund activities within the club and to participate in chemistry related events and professional meetings.
