Chemistry has different areas that impact our daily lives. Chemistry is an important science as an educational process of student's activities. The Student Affiliate Chapter at Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, selected theme of Chemical Education as one of the faces of Chemistry, which was the National Chemistry Week theme. We wanted to promote the message of the importance of chemistry to different students in the southern part of the island of Puerto Rico. Students of the Chapters visited various schools from pre kindergarten to higher education in the towns of Ponce, Juana Díaz, Coamo and Villalba. At these visits chemical demonstrations were presented to help students understand some of the forms chemistry impacts our lives. The results obtained from the schools visited will be featured at this presentation.
