With National Chemistry Week, Mole Day and our annual Halloween ChemMagic show, October is a very busy month at Arkansas State University. Keeping with the theme for NCW, we showed the 'Many Faces of Chemistry' by highlighting successful ASU Chemistry alumni and presenting possible career oppurtunities. The ChemMagic show, held for children of students, faculty and staff, involved a multidisciplinary approach, with the assistance of members from the Pre-Pharmacy Club and Society of Physics Students. A novel way to promote Mole Day will be presented along with other chapter activities, including successful fund raising and recruiting efforts.
