The creation of educational computerized modules to face learning problems in courses like General Chemistry is an area of development highly spread in Universities around the world. We are presenting “Interactive Problem Assistance” (IPAs) WebPages that have been created using Dreamweaver, which is a platform that facilitates addition of images, text, links and page properties in the creation of WebPages. These IPAs are designed to help students solve on-line General Chemistry problems in their own interactive environment. The WebPages were created for Intermolecular forces and Acid-Base Chemistry topics and consist of modules that assist the student in two ways: as guidelines that help to achieve the correct answer and as help at each stage of the problem-solving process. These modules are based on specific errors encountered in the problems of each topic, previously established by qualitative studies. These IPAs will be added to the UPR-RP Blackboard platform of the course.
