Synthesis and reactions of HFe4(µ4-η2-CH)(CO)12

The cluster HFe4(µ4-η2-CH)(CO)12 was decomposed under various reaction conditions to obtain nanoparticles. Attempts at using these nanoparticles as catalysts for various reactions will be presented. The different nanoparticles obtained have been characterized and their phases determined.
