Colorado chemistry students serve the community

The SAACS group at Metropolitan State College of Denver continues to expand its membership and activities. The chapter has been instrumental in providing a chemistry day competition for all local high school students last April. At that event, members served more than 300 high schoolers with numerous activities. They also devised a method for making "ice cream spheres" for a student activities day on campus. In October the members hosted the first annual Colorado Section SAACS workshop.
