Self-assembly of functional nanomaterials relies on the application of simple and efficient chemistries to realise the functional polymer building blocks. This contribution presents facile one-pot strategies for the synthesis of multivalent and multiblock copolymers that contain both stereoregular and stereoirregular poly(lactide) segments.
