Are you feeling ill? A bit feverish? That's not it….catch the chemistry bug! Chemistry and community outreach go together like molecules and compounds. The focus of the club is dedicated to community outreach and engagement with the fusion of chemistry and education. Highlighted events are centered on National Chemistry Week and events that benefit the local community throughout the academic year. Some events sponsored by the club are Chemistry Day, Toys for Tots, Christmas and Chemistry on Campus, Light the Night: Chemistry supports Cancer walk, and Green Chemistry and Global Warming. These events are geared towards chemical education, spreading knowledge throughout the community and community service. The overall goal of the club reflects on spreading the chemistry bug to the community.
