| The arsenic wastewater in the power plant was studied. The effect of pH, settling time, dosage and molar ratio on polysilicate ferric aluminum sulfate (PSFAS) for disposal of arsenic wastewater was investigated as well. The species in PSFAS were determined by Ferron-timed complex colorimetric method. The arsenic removal mechanisms of PSFAS were also discussed. It was shown that the arsenic removal efficiency of PSFAS was more than 90%, while pH is of 7.0, and the settling time of 10min, and the dosage of 100mg/L, and molar ratio (Fe3++Al3+)/SiO2 of 1:1. Experimental results show that PSFAS has shorter settling time, lower residual color and high arsenic removal efficiency. |
