Interfacial electronic structure of thiophene on Ag(111) was studied with two-photon photo-emission. A phase transition in monothiophene was observed to cause changes in electronic structure at the interface. Effective masses of image potential states and molecular states were determined and are discussed in context of varying oligomer size.
