A number of reading books and movies are used in this course to illustrate the connection between the environmental chemistry classroom and the real world. The students make oral presentations either in pairs or singles on these movies or book chapters by specifically describing the environmental chemistry. The movies are assigned to be seen outside of class time. The student evaluations always report on the movies and reading books as an important aspect in their learning environmental chemistry.
