The high temperature resistant sunlight curable coating was prepared by adding the glass powers into the novel epoxy methacrylate resin containing phthalazinone. The methacrylate epoxy resins obtained were utilized to sunlight radiation curing by taking 3 % (wt %) of photoinitiator in combination with 20% (wt %) of diluent, 5%~20% (wt %) of the glass power, 3 % (wt %) of the additive and generated the interpenetrating polymer networks. Incorporation of the glass power has enhanced chemical, heat and corrosion resistant properties because of its shape, size, acid and salt solution resistance, and heat stability property. The cured film had good thermal and chemical stability. The glass powers in IPN furthermore protected the mild steel structures from corrosive for longer duration than the pure resins.
