| The global presence of large corporation and the global economic expansion has resulted in large corporations conducting research and running operations through global teams of employees. Employees of the company represent diverse cultures from different parts of the world on various teams. It is critical to understand cultural differences and practices to be able successfully complete projects and also build productive professional relationships with colleagues within the company that are located in the different parts of the world or to conduct business in different cultures. This session will concentrate on cultural differences and practices in India, China, Taiwan and South Korea. Panel members with experience in these cultures and the U.S. will share useful points to consider, to be successful in today's global economy. |
