Our study of the current environments that affect women faculty in chemistry and chemical engineering departments at 35 Research Universities was conducted over four years. This presentation will describe some recommendations for attracting more women into faculty positions in these institutions based on our results. It will also place our recommendations into the larger context of findings from other recently reported studies.
