This presentation will describe a new experiment in the URIECA (Undergraduate Research-Inspired Experimental Chemistry Activities) Curriculum under development at MIT. Each URIECA experiment is designed to teach core chemistry concepts to students by exposing them to current research conducted in the Chemistry Department. The featured experiment is based on recent developments on the Suzuki-Miyaura and Buchwald-Hartwig coupling reactions.
