The Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation supports a variety of programs to enhance all aspects of the STEM undergraduate curriculum. An overview of the goals and specific curricular areas of the more popular programs will be discussed. The Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement program was revised significantly for FY2006 and now offers applicants a choice of components and phases that can be used to request support for a variety of improvements in undergraduate STEM education. Following the overview of the CCLI and other DUE programs, a panel discussion will outline the emphases within the revised CCLI program and will discuss strategies that are important when submitting a competitive proposal. Panel members will include NSF Program Directors and recent reviewers of proposals.
