The Analytical Sciences Digital Library (ASDL) and the Division of Analytical Chemistry (ANYL) of the American Chemical Society (ACS) recently formed a partnership that provides a mechanism for timely communication and enhanced delivery of educational resources for the analytical community via its joint website, www.analyticalsciences.org. This website went onine in March 2007. An organizational/managerial structure has been implemented with representation from both groups. ASDL continues as a separate entity within the partnership. Its challenge is to find relevant and quality websites with educational content from the vast number on the Internet, and add to its library collection in www.asdlib.org via a peer-review process. ASDL also provides opportunity for students, faculty and practitioners to publish eLearning material or post materials, such as posters from meetings. The mission of ASDL complements the goals of ANYL to provide increased member service with a global reach through the joint website.
