High refractive index sulfur-containing polyacrylates with high Abbe numbers

In summary, the new polymer with the high refractive index and the high Abbe's number was designed and prepared via the free radical polymerization. The polymer has enough high molecular weight and excellent transparency over 300 nm. The thermal stability of polymer 5 was evaluated by TGA and DSC, indicating a good thermal stability even under air. This resin has high transparency, no birefringence, and comparative the high refractive index with the high Abbe's number.
