Using the 'Living By Chemistry' (LBC) curriculum, we will share some of our work with inquiry and open-ended questioning in heterogeneous classroom settings. The LBC curriculum is similar to POGIL in the sense that it also employs inquiry and critical thinking. We have applied these pedagogies in our work with students who have a wide range of interests and abilities in chemistry. Our presentation will include several lab activities and exercises that emphasize the use of inquiry in our classes.
