Solid superacid SO_4(2-)/TiO_2 supported on mesoporous MCM-41 was prepared by liquid-phase precipitation. And the mechanism for the formation of superacid was suggested. Influence of H_2SO_4 concentration, caicination temperature and caicination time on the catalytic behaviors was investigated from the synthesis of polydimethylsiloxane. The results indicated that the solid superacid SO_4(2-)/TiO_2 was an excellent catalyst for the synthesis of polydimethylsiloxane. The optimized synthesis conditions for the solid superacid were as follows : H_2SO_4 concentration was 0.75mol/L, caicination temperature was 550°C,and caicination time was 2 hours. The structure of the solid superacid was characterized by XRD, BET and FT-IR. The results showed that mesoporous structure of MCM-4l was maintained in the catalyst system with a high BET surface area and better solid acidity.
