This paper will focus on work being done to create materials that can be used for both on-site and on-line training in research ethics for graduate students as part of the NSF-funded LANGURE (Land Grant Universities Research Ethics) project. It will also address the issues of why training in research ethics is needed, what topics should be covered, and where people can find information that would be useful when teaching ethics to either undergraduate chemistry majors or graduate students.
