The new copolymers containing benzobisthiazole derivative and thiophene derivative were synthesized by sonogashira reaction. The resulting copolymers were good soluble in organic solvent such as THF, CHCl3, and CH2Cl2. The characterization of the copolymers was measured by 1H-NMR, 13-NMR and FT-IR. The absorption maxima of the copolymers were at about 463 nm and 344 nm in CHCl3. The photoluminescence of the copolymers in CHCl3 showed at 513 nm and 460 nm, respectively. Thermal properties of copolymers were investigated by TGA. The molecular weight of polymers were measured by GPC. The copolymers showed yellowish green color on neutral state and the copolymers were applied to PLED as emitting materials.
