The new conjugated polymer containing benzobisthiazole derivative and pyridine in the main chain was synthesized by sonogashira reaction. This polymer is soluble in common organic solvents such as THF, CHCl3 and Toluene. The structure of this polymer was Characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and FT-IR. The molecular weight of this polymers was measured by GPC. The absorption maximum was at 423nm in CHCl3 solution. The photoluminescent spectrum of the polymer shown at 493nm in CHCl3 solution. The thermogravimetric( TGA; N2; 10 °C/min) curve of the copolymer shown onset decomposition temperature at about 278°C.
