As the global economy changes, companies are entering new markets and partnering with companies in these markets. India, with its 8% year-over-year growth in GDP, its well educated English speaking work force, its vast labor force, and its rapidly growing middle class of almost 300 million people makes it a very desirable location for American companies to do business. As American companies enter India, they face new challenges in protecting their intellectual property. However, the rewards of doing business in India dwarf these risks. This presentation discusses how American companies can successfully do business in India while, at the same time, protecting their intellectual property.
