In line with vigorous exploitation of “click” chemistry as one of the most versatile tools to elaborate organic, inorganic and nanostructured materials, we have developed an efficient and reliable method to incorporate the organic compounds, such as metal-binding ligands and organocatalysts, onto siliceous mesocellular foam (MCF). The heterogenized catalysts exhibited comparable activities and selectivities to their homogeneous counterparts for ring-closing metathesis, asymmetric cyclopropanation, and organocatalysis, while offering excellent recyclabilities over multiple runs.
