Novel cross-linked fluorinated oligomeric nanoparticles were prepared by the reaction of adipic acid dihydrazide with fluoroalkyl end-capped N-(1,1-dimethyl 3-oxobutyl)acrylamide oligomer [Rf-(DOBAA)n-Rf]. These fluorinated nanoparticles thus obtained were not able to interact with hibitane as a guest molecules. However, Rf-(DOBAA)n-Rf oligomeric aggreagtes could react with hibitane to afford the corresponding oligomer/hibitane nanocompistes with a good dispersibility and stability in methanol.
