| There have been many challenges in the upstream process development in contract manufacturing organizations because of extremely short timeline, limited resources and a diversity of client projects. Many approaches have been used for feed medium development to increase viable cell density and culture duration in upstream process development. We have been employing platform approaches for the generic feed medium development to improve the productivity of cell culture processes while preserving the product quality. This presentation will present case study results to show the efficiency and flexibility of using generic feeds in upstream process optimization to meet the respective expectations of the different clients. |
