Metal complexes of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) are established for their stability towards heat, moisture and oxygen. Platinum complexes are known for their catalytic activity in many different reactions like amination, hydrosilylation, cyanostannylation, CH-activation, hydroformylation and other reactions. Therefore we were interested in the performance of our new platinum NHC complexes and report the results of our catalytic studies.
